I created a quick vintage matchbook design for my band Lorenzo's Music using gimp. First I got a scan of an old matchbook. I scanned the screen printed version of our album cover. Truthfully the screen print is what will help the design. I pasted it on a new layer and with the erase tool set to Confetti Brush, wore away the edges. And there it is. I'm thinking of customizing the matchsticks to use as navigation for a website redesign.

I know I could have just used the image and added on top of that, but I wanted to try and recreated the look in Inkscape using textures and the sculpting tool.
