An audio show where I record thoughts I have from my phone along with various sound files I find during the week.

This week in between thoughts: A DJ quits on the air, a song about a big lady, Garfield the cat says Hi, Boris Karloff talks about the movie Dracula, Brak sings a little tune and Bill Cosby tells us about RUDY!

    The false cell phone vibrations in your leg has 2 terms, Vibranxiety or Phantom Vibration Syndrome.

    interesting podcast, i was thinking about doing a very similar format, but thought the quality of the first one was way too lousy and never published it. you've motivated me to try keep trying. tnx!

    That's really cool to hear that I had inspired you to give your podcast another try. I'm touched.

    I figured I was always finding and recording this stuff anyway why not slap 'em together and share. I can't decide if i should create a separate site for it keep posting it here though.

New Flyer design

I'm still on my "matchbook cover designs" kick and just created this flyer for an upcoming show my band Lorenzo's Music has on Jan. 17, 2009 in Madison based on a matchbook I saw. It was just an off kilter two-tone repeating square design. I set it up once again in the free vector program, Inkscape . I simply just created a black background and drew a large cream colored square on the left side. Then copied it, paste, move it over, change color, repeat. When I had them all on the left side, I pasted the original square I had on top. I replaced the color with a cloth texture I had and set the opacity to 25% and blurred it .05%. Then I copied all of that, pasted it and moved the new pasted squares to the right side. Next, I added the text in white. Copied the text, pasted it on top of itself and also filled that new layer with the cloth texture an set the opacity to 25% an blurred this to 1% to give it a glow look. And there ya go. The End :)
